Local SEO Pricing & Packages

Compare scope and cost

Local SEO scope and cost

Two local SEO quotes can have the same monthly price and pay for very different work. One might cover a few profile edits. Another might include service-page writing, website repairs and ongoing reporting. Cale Media quotes the work after reviewing your website, Google Business Profile and the services you want more inquiries for.

We use custom quotes rather than a fixed public price list. The proposal separates the initial project from any recurring work, names the deliverables and explains what you need to supply. Start with that scope, then decide whether the price makes sense for the business.

What changes the cost of local SEO?

The first question is what needs attention. Correcting old business information is a different project from rebuilding several service pages. A usable website with a clear offer may need less work than a site where visitors cannot understand the service or finish an inquiry.

We also look at the number of real business locations, the services you want to prioritize and how much approved content is available. Useful photos, accurate service details and access to the current site make the work easier to define. If those pieces need to be created or recovered, the proposal should account for them.

Type of workWhen it fitsWhat to get in writing
A defined cleanup projectYou can point to specific profile, listing or website problems. The affected pages and profile fields, planned changes and completion checks.
An SEO auditYou need evidence and priorities before deciding what to change. The site and profiles reviewed, the findings you receive and whether implementation costs extra.
Ongoing local SEOThere is a continuing list of useful improvements to make and assess. The work planned for each period, reporting, approvals and recurring charges.

These are ways to scope the work, not fixed packages with an assumed number of pages or guaranteed rankings. For the service itself, see local SEO in Howell or Ann Arbor SEO services.

Separate the initial work from the monthly work

If the quote includes a setup fee, ask what it produces. That could be the first review, a defined group of corrections or agreed page improvements. The monthly fee should then explain what continues after those initial tasks are complete.

A report alone doesn’t tell you what was done. A useful review connects the changes to the pages and searches involved, then examines the inquiries you can actually attribute. If progress is weak, the next conversation should identify what to investigate or change.

A larger website rebuild, filming, advertising spend, hosting and paid software should have their own line items when they are part of the proposal. Don’t assume they are included because the quote uses the word marketing.

Use the prices in your proposals

Compare the total cost of two SEO quotes

A low monthly fee can look different once you include setup and separate project charges. Enter two written quotes over the same period. Use zero where there is no charge, and add any known taxes, software or other costs in the extras field.

This compares your inputs. It does not generate a Cale Media price or estimate rankings, leads or revenue. A lower total does not establish that the scope is equivalent.

Quote AEnter a monthly fee, or 0 for a project only.
Quote BEnter a monthly fee, or 0 for a project only.

Total = upfront fee + (monthly fee × selected months) + other costs. Enter nonnegative amounts with at most two decimal places. The same monthly fee is assumed throughout the selected period; add any separate charges in extras.

Complete both quotes to compare their totals.

The cheapest quote still needs a workable scope

Compare what you will receive for that total. If one proposal includes writing and implementing a service page while another supplies recommendations for your developer, those prices buy different things. Ask who does the work that sits between the recommendation and a working page.

Read the commitment and cancellation terms as carefully as the monthly fee. Confirm what happens to your website, content, reporting and account access if the arrangement ends. Those details belong in the written agreement, before you commit.

Google Business Profile itself is free. Paying an agency covers the agreed work, not a fee owed to Google for the profile. Google also says you cannot pay for a better organic local ranking. A promise to buy the top spot is not an SEO deliverable.

What to send for a Cale Media quote

Send your website, Google Business Profile link and the services you want more inquiries for. Tell us where you work, what is happening now and whether someone already handles the website. If you have a budget or deadline, include it so we can discuss a realistic starting scope.

We will review the starting point, explain the proposed work and put the scope and price in writing before work begins. If a specific repair can address the immediate problem, we can discuss that first. If the cause is unclear, an SEO audit may be the useful next step.
