CALE MEDIA / HOWELL, MICHIGAN

Local SEO Services in Howell, MI

I spent 20 years in Lake Tahoe, California helping local businesses rank on Google. I’ve worked with businesses ranging from car dealerships to local pizza places. Now I’m back home in Howell, closer to family and ready to put that experience to work here. If your competitors keep showing up ahead of you, let’s find out why.

WHAT I’LL WORK ON WITH YOU

Google Maps & Local SEO Services

Tell me which services you want more calls for. I’ll look at how people find you, what they see when they get there and what might stop them from getting in touch.

01 / GOOGLE MAPS

Google Business Profile Optimization

Your Google profile should reflect the work you want to be hired for. I’ll check the categories, services, photos and business details, then explain the changes I’d make.

02 / YOUR WEBSITE

Local Service Page SEO

Someone looking at your website wants to know: do you do the work they need, do you serve their area and how can they hire you? I’ll build your service pages around those questions and the searches behind them.

03 / REPORTING

Search Visibility & Enquiry Tracking

I want to know whether the work is helping people find and contact you. We’ll look at search data alongside the calls and inquiries we can measure, then use that to decide what needs attention next.

04 / WEBSITE CHECKS

Technical SEO Review

I’ll check whether Google can reach your important pages and whether customers can use them. A page that doesn’t load properly or a contact button that’s hard to find deserves attention.

05 / BUSINESS DETAILS

Local Listings & Citation Review

Your number, website and business details should agree wherever a customer finds you. I’ll look for old or conflicting information and help you work through the corrections.

06 / CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE

Reviews & Local Business Content

You’ve got real work to show and real customer questions to answer. I’ll help you use both, along with a straightforward way to ask customers for honest reviews.

EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE WORK

20 Years Helping Local Businesses Rank on Google

I grew up in Pinckney, so this move brings me back to the area I call home. In Lake Tahoe, California I helped local businesses compete on Google and also taught college classes. I’m bringing that experience to the work I do with Howell business owners.

LOCAL SEARCH STRATEGY

Local SEO for Howell Businesses

I start with what people search when they’re ready to hire someone in Howell. Then I look at who’s showing up and whether your profile and website give those customers a reason to call you.

Tell me which jobs you want more of and which customers are a good fit. That helps me focus the work on the searches that matter to your business.

FROM FINDINGS TO WORK

What a Local SEO Audit Should Tell You

You should leave a review knowing what I’d change, why I’d change it and what comes first. Here’s what I look for.

SEARCHES & PAGES

A clear destination for each service

I’ll match the services you sell with the searches customers use. Lawn mowing and landscape design, for example, answer different needs. Small wording changes don’t automatically need another page.

FINDINGS & PRIORITIES

What needs attention first

I’ll point to the actual page or profile detail that needs work. You’ll be able to see what I’m talking about and ask questions before we decide what to do.

WORK & MEASUREMENT

A starting point to compare

We need to know where you’re starting. I’ll record the searches and pages we’re working on, what changes and which inquiry data is available so we have something useful to compare.

ILLUSTRATIVE REVIEW EXAMPLE

Your listing sends a customer to a confusing page

Finding: imagine your Google listing sends someone to a homepage where the service they searched for is buried.

Recommended action: I’d make that service easy to find, explain where you work and give the customer a clear way to contact you. Then I’d follow that path on a phone.

Measure: look at visits and completed inquiries where we can track them. A button click alone doesn’t tell us that someone became a customer.

Illustrative example. No client results are shown.

SCOPE & COST

Local SEO Pricing & Next Steps

Let’s start with your website and Google listing. I’ll explain what I’d work on first and give you a quote for the work we agree to. The cost depends on what needs fixing and how much ongoing help you want.

  • Initial work: the profile edits, service pages or website fixes we’ll start with, plus anything I need from you.
  • Ongoing work: the updates and support you want after that, with an agreed time to look at progress.
  • The quote: the work, price, expected timing and terms spelled out before we start.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Local SEO Questions

Can you guarantee a number-one Google ranking?

No. I can work on your profile, website and the way customers find you, but Google decides the positions. Local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. I’ll be clear about what we’re working on and how we’re measuring it. Read Google’s local ranking guidance.

Do I need a new website?

Not necessarily. I’d want to look at the site you already have. If it’s a good base, we can improve the pages and contact process without starting over.

How long does local SEO take?

I’d need to see where you’re starting and who you’re competing with. I’ll explain which fixes we can make first and what will need more time and follow-up.

Is this the same as paying for Google Ads?

No. This work focuses on your unpaid Google visibility and website. We can talk about paid ads separately if they fit what you’re trying to do.

Why is my business not showing up on Google?

Start by checking whether the missing result is your business profile, a position for a service search or a website page. My guide to a business not showing up on Google walks through verification, restrictions, search comparisons and Search Console checks.
