WHAT I’LL WORK ON WITH YOU

Google Maps & Local SEO Services

Tell me which services you want more calls for. I’ll look at how people find you, what they see when they get there and what might stop them from getting in touch.

01 / GOOGLE MAPS

Google Business Profile Optimization

Your Google profile should reflect the work you want to be hired for. I’ll check the categories, services, photos and business details, then explain the changes I’d make.

02 / YOUR WEBSITE

Local Service Page SEO

Someone looking at your website wants to know: do you do the work they need, do you serve their area and how can they hire you? I’ll build your service pages around those questions and the searches behind them.

03 / REPORTING

Search Visibility & Enquiry Tracking

I want to know whether the work is helping people find and contact you. We’ll look at search data alongside the calls and inquiries we can measure, then use that to decide what needs attention next.

04 / WEBSITE CHECKS

Technical SEO Review

I’ll check whether Google can reach your important pages and whether customers can use them. A page that doesn’t load properly or a contact button that’s hard to find deserves attention.

05 / BUSINESS DETAILS

Local Listings & Citation Review

Your number, website and business details should agree wherever a customer finds you. I’ll look for old or conflicting information and help you work through the corrections.

06 / CUSTOMER CONFIDENCE

Reviews & Local Business Content

You’ve got real work to show and real customer questions to answer. I’ll help you use both, along with a straightforward way to ask customers for honest reviews.

PROFILE, WEBSITE & CUSTOMER INQUIRIES

Google Maps and your website, handled together

A customer might call straight from your Google profile or visit your website first. I work on both routes. That means checking the information in the listing, improving the page it sends people to and making sure the contact options are easy to use.

A clear path to your business

I check the phone links, forms and page connections, then review available inquiry data with you.

Fix the part that’s getting in the way

If your website already explains your services well, we may start with the profile and inconsistent business listings. If visitors land on a vague homepage, I can improve the service page and its contact path. You don’t automatically need a new website because you’re hiring someone for SEO. Where a rebuild makes sense, I’ll explain why and quote the website work separately.

Before you agree, you’ll know which profile edits and pages I’m taking on, what I need from you and how we’ll review progress. Your service knowledge, approved photos and feedback on the inquiries help keep the work tied to the customers you actually want.

FROM FINDINGS TO WORK

What a Local SEO Audit Should Tell You

You should leave a review knowing what I’d change, why I’d change it and what comes first. Here’s what I look for.

SEARCHES & PAGES

A clear destination for each service

I’ll match the services you sell with the searches customers use. Lawn mowing and landscape design, for example, answer different needs. Small wording changes don’t automatically need another page.

FINDINGS & PRIORITIES

What needs attention first

I’ll point to the actual page or profile detail that needs work. You’ll be able to see what I’m talking about and ask questions before we decide what to do.

WORK & MEASUREMENT

A starting point to compare

We need to know where you’re starting. I’ll record the searches and pages we’re working on, what changes and which inquiry data is available so we have something useful to compare.

ILLUSTRATIVE REVIEW EXAMPLE

Your listing sends a customer to a confusing page

Finding: imagine your Google listing sends someone to a homepage where the service they searched for is buried.

Recommended action: I’d make that service easy to find, explain where you work and give the customer a clear way to contact you. Then I’d follow that path on a phone.

Measure: look at visits and completed inquiries where we can track them. A button click alone doesn’t tell us that someone became a customer.

Illustrative example. No client results are shown.

BEFORE YOU HIRE ANY SEO COMPANY

What to Ask an SEO Company in Howell

You should know where your money is going and what will actually change. Ask me these questions. Ask every other company you are considering too.

  • Which searches and pages are you working on? The answer should connect the services you want to sell with a specific page, profile or problem. “More traffic” by itself is not a plan.
  • What will you change, and why? You should be able to see the recommendation, understand the reason and know whether the work is on your website, Google profile or somewhere else.
  • What do I keep control of? Your website, content, Business Profile and business data should remain yours. Any access I need should be discussed before the work starts.
  • How will we know whether it is working? Rankings and clicks need context. I want a clear starting point and the best available connection to real calls and inquiries.
  • What does the price include? Get the initial work, ongoing work, communication and terms in writing before you agree.

A promise is not a plan

If somebody guarantees the number-one spot before they even look at your business, keep shopping. Google says no one can guarantee a number-one ranking and warns against companies that will not clearly explain what they intend to do. Read Google’s guide to hiring an SEO.

My recommendation should be specific enough for you to decide whether the work makes sense for your business.

PUT THE OPPORTUNITY IN YOUR OWN NUMBERS

What Could a Few More Calls Be Worth?

Google visibility only matters if it helps the right customer call. Use your own numbers to test a simple business scenario. This does not predict rankings, search volume, calls or sales.

Enter a percentage from 0 to 100.

$1,000estimated additional monthly sales

That scenario is about 2 new customers from 5 additional calls.

Illustrative calculation using your inputs. It is not a traffic, call, ranking or revenue guarantee. Actual results depend on demand, competition, your offer, follow-up and measurement.

SCOPE & COST

Local SEO Pricing & Next Steps

Let’s start with your website and Google listing. I’ll explain what I’d work on first and give you a quote for the work we agree to. The cost depends on what needs fixing and how much ongoing help you want.

  • Initial work: the profile edits, service pages or website fixes we’ll start with, plus anything I need from you.
  • Ongoing work: the updates and support you want after that, with an agreed time to look at progress.
  • The quote: the work, price, expected timing and terms spelled out before we start.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Local SEO Questions

Can you guarantee a number-one Google ranking?

No. I can work on your profile, website and the way customers find you, but Google decides the positions. Local results depend mainly on relevance, distance and prominence. I’ll be clear about what we’re working on and how we’re measuring it. Read Google’s local ranking guidance.

Do I need a new website?

Not necessarily. I’d want to look at the site you already have. If it’s a good base, we can improve the pages and contact process without starting over.

How long does local SEO take?

I’d need to see where you’re starting and who you’re competing with. I’ll explain which fixes we can make first and what will need more time and follow-up.

Is this the same as paying for Google Ads?

No. This work focuses on your unpaid Google visibility and website. We can talk about paid ads separately if they fit what you’re trying to do.

Why is my business not showing up on Google?

Start by checking whether the missing result is your business profile, a position for a service search or a website page. My guide to a business not showing up on Google walks through verification, restrictions, search comparisons and Search Console checks.
