Show the part a buyer cannot understand from a paragraph

A storefront can show what a visit feels like. A company with a technical service may need to show the work step by step. Those are different videos, even if both businesses are in Dexter. We start with the question the viewer needs answered and choose the shots that answer it.

For example, a process video might follow an item from preparation through the finished result. An appointment business might walk through what happens on a first visit. These are planning examples, not claims about projects we have filmed.

A useful demonstration needs more than a wide shot

1. Give the viewer context. Establish what is being worked on and why it matters before cutting to details.
2. Show the important action. Plan close views of the steps a customer would otherwise have to imagine.
3. Explain the limits. Identify conditions, preparation or variations that would change what the customer receives.
4. Finish with the next step. Point to the relevant service, inquiry form or person to contact.

Plan access before the camera arrives

A busy workspace is not automatically ready for filming. We discuss who will speak, which areas can be shown, background noise and when the work can be recorded without getting in the way. Customer records, computer screens, private conversations and people who have not agreed to appear need attention before filming starts.

For technical work, your team approves the explanation. A good edit can clarify a process; it should not imply a capability, certification or result the business cannot support.

Agree on what the finished project includes

The proposal should name the filming time, locations, finished videos, approximate lengths, horizontal or vertical formats, captions, revision rounds and delivery date. We also agree on whether raw footage is included and where music or other licensed material can be used. A website explainer and a set of short social clips are separate deliverables unless both are included in the scope.
