YOUR NEXT PRINT. MADE IN HOWELL.
Cale Media’s on-demand 3D printing beta turns your ready-to-print model into a PLA print here in Howell, Michigan. Choose a design from our shop or upload your file, review the size and estimate, then enter your invitation code at checkout. We handle the print settings and assign an available printer.
Browse our ready-to-print designs, or upload an STL up to 20 MB. You can rotate the preview and check its dimensions before requesting a print. Files keep their original size, interpreted in millimeters.
The service checks and slices your model automatically with 5% infill and supports where needed. You’ll see the estimated print time, material use and price before checkout.
Your order starts when a checked printer is marked ready. Follow its status in the same browser, watch the live studio cameras, and arrange free porch pickup when it’s ready.
SIMPLE BY DESIGN
Have a model for a display piece, desk organizer, hobby project or prototype? The beta is designed for small PLA prints with a straightforward upload-and-print flow. Printer and filament color are assigned automatically.
Every request is checked before it reaches a printer. The owner clears the bed and marks a machine ready for one job, so a queued print waits until a printer is available.

Enter your code at checkout to waive the print price. Standard estimates start at $15 and account for setup, material and print time. Card checkout is not available yet, and this beta currently accepts invitation-code orders only.
Porch pickup is free. We use the name and email you provide to arrange collection. Keep the same browser to return to your order and check its progress.
BEFORE YOU PRINT
Yes. Choose from our ready-to-print collection of desk organizers, home accessories, planters, desk games and gifts. Each design has a model preview, dimensions and estimated price. Choose an item, review the prepared print and enter your beta code at checkout. One design per checkout; printer and color are assigned automatically.
No. The beta uses PLA, 5% infill and automatic supports with a standard 0.20 mm layer profile. Your model stays at its original size. Printer and color are assigned for you.
The service checks your file and tells you if it needs repair or exceeds the beta’s size, material or time limits. Export a closed, solid STL and check the preview dimensions. A model that fails preparation does not enter the print queue.
It starts automatically when a compatible printer is online, idle and marked ready by the owner after a bed and filament check. If no printer is ready, your order waits in the queue. The time shown at checkout estimates printing time, not the queue wait or a guaranteed pickup time.
Yes. Everyone can view the five studio camera feeds and expand a camera for a closer look. Your order also shows its status in Your prints. Camera availability depends on the printer connection; a machine without a camera still reports its job status.
Orders are available for free porch pickup in Howell, Michigan. Cale Media will arrange pickup using your checkout email after the part is ready. Contact us before making a trip.
The resin printer is visible in the live studio, but automatic beta orders currently use PLA filament printers. Contact Cale Media to discuss a project that needs a different material or process.
FROM OUR OWN STUDIO
On October 27, 2026, Cale Media tested this workflow with a 20 × 20 × 10 mm STL block. The website prepared the file, accepted the beta code and assigned the order to Printer 4 after a physical readiness check. The printer accepted the generated file and began printing in white PLA.
The slicer estimated 1.96 g of material and 12 minutes 33 seconds. We observed the printer at layer 4 of 50 with no reported printer error. This test verifies a real print start; it does not establish finished-part quality or predict the timing of a different model.
