Open your website on your phone and try to request an estimate. Can you find the right service, tell whether the business serves your location and make contact without guessing? That short exercise can reveal more than a page full of design claims. If your Howell business website makes those steps difficult, Cale Media can help identify what needs changing.

Make the offer clear on the first screen

A new visitor should be able to explain what you do after reading the opening text. Name the service, describe the kind of customer it fits and make the next step visible. Use actual service areas. A local business should not suggest that it has offices in places where it only travels to customers.

Check each main service page separately. Someone arriving from a search result may never see your homepage. That page still needs enough context to help them decide whether to call.

Test navigation on a narrow screen

Open the menu, follow a service link and return to the contact page. Look for text cut off at the edge, sideways scrolling, buttons covered by floating elements and links packed too closely together. Check the page while its images are loading as well as after everything has settled.

Try the same route with a keyboard. You should be able to see which link or field has focus and reach the form without a mouse. Give form fields visible labels and explain errors where the visitor can find them.

Complete the enquiry from start to finish

Use a clearly labeled test message. Check the confirmation shown to the visitor and the message received by the business. An attractive form that loses enquiries is a business problem even if every page looks finished.

Tap the phone link and confirm the number it opens. Check the email link too. Ask only for information needed to respond; if photos or dimensions are useful for an estimate, explain that beside the relevant field.

Put evidence beside the claim

Use photos of actual work when available, describe what the project involved and get permission before sharing customer details. Attribute testimonials accurately. A sample design or hypothetical result should be labeled so visitors can distinguish it from completed work.

Carry the same colors, navigation and contact details across service pages and articles. A visitor should recognize the business throughout the site.

Check what the site records

Agree how enquiries will be counted and who will review them. A button click, a submitted form and a qualified lead are different events. Test the measurement you intend to use, and keep a record of the starting position before judging a change.

For search access, Google’s SEO starter guide points owners to Search Console’s URL Inspection tool to check how Google sees a page. A design review alone cannot establish that a page is indexed.

Make handover part of the job

Confirm who controls the domain, hosting and website accounts, how updates are handled and how a backup would be restored. Ask for a demonstration of the edits you expect to make yourself.

If several checks fail, use the website planning guide to set priorities before commissioning a rebuild. To discuss the work with Cale Media, send your website and the problem you found.
